2010 Family Concert Series at Fishel Park
All ages are welcome
FREE entertainment at Fishel Park. Food and drinks available for purchase. Concerts begin at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Annual Fishing Derby - Saturday, July 31, 9am to 12 Noon at Barth Pond
Presented by Downers Grove Park District in partnership with the Downers Grove Moose Rod & Gun Club and Babich & Associates Financial Services.
The Annual Fishing Derby will take place at Patriots Park/Barth Pond on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 9 am to 12 Noon. Again this year, three fish will bring cash prizes to the lucky anglers (ages 16 and under) who snag them! Babich and Associates has sponsored the tagged fish worth $100, $150, and $250 and checks will be awarded on site during Derby hours. Two additional fish will be tagged by the Park District, and if caught, will be awarded a $25 Park District Gift card. Prizes will also be awarded to the person who catches the shortest and longest fish in each age group. Bring the whole family and enjoy raffles, good times, and big fish.
