Welcome to the Downers Grove School of the Arts. Artists of all ages can create a distinctive masterpiece in one of our art classes. Programs include crafting with various materials, painting, drawing and sculpting with clay.

Showcase your creativity! Downers Grove Park District invites artists of all ages and abilities to display their artwork on the Community Art Wall located at the Lincoln Center. This monthly display is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If interested in participating, please complete the interest form:

Things to know:

  • Artwork will be displayed for one calendar month and is due to the Lincoln Center on the 15th of the prior month.
  • The District will reserve a few months to display artwork from participants of our in-house programs.
  • The Downers Grove Park District is not responsible for any damage that may occur.
  • Artwork must be family friendly and appropriate for all ages.
  • Display may contain multiple sizes, but must fit in the 9'x9' area.
  • Artwork will be hung using 3M hooks, strips, or similar.
  • 2-3 samples of artwork must be submitted for review before the display is approved, photos of work are acceptable.
