    Join us for a day of food, live music, a craft fair, children's activities, a beer garden and fun for the entire family!

    DG 5&8 Miler: Our annual racing tradition has moved to the fall to help kick off Harvest Fest! Offering a new 8-mile option, the race will begin at the Lincoln Center and end at Fishel Park.

    Live Music: Diva will hit the stage at 10:30am, Hillbilly Rockstarz will perform at 1pm, DJ Coach Josh will spin tunes at 3pm and Modern Day Romeos will headline at 5pm.

    Food: Food from local food trucks will serve up a bounty of good eats. Vendors will be announced soon!

    Beer Garden: Beer from official beverage sponsor, Schamberger Bros, Inc. including the debut of our very own Lyman Honey Wheat Ale crafted by Alter Brewing Company.

    Fun & Games: Visit the free Pumpkin Patch Kids Area from 9am to 4pm for face painting, bounce houses and kids crafts.

    Bags Tournament: Adults can compete for cash prizes in the Bags Tournament at noon. Bags Championship will be held at 3:45pm.

    Chilympics: Groups can compete in our chili cookoff at 3pm.

    Pie Eating Contest: Kids can register to participate in our pie eating contest offering two age divisions (6-9 and 10-14)! Contest will start at 3pm.

    Craft Fair: Search for some handmade fall crafts in the craft fair, open from 9am to 3pm.

    Celebrating 40 years of tradition!

    Our annual race will now kick off Harvest Fest! Featuring a new 8-mile option, racers can choose to compete in the 5- or 8-mile courses both starting at the Lincoln Center and finishing at Fishel Park. Awards are given to the top finishers in the male and female age divisions. Both courses are CARA- and USATF-certified.

    Show us your best recipe with the Chilympics Chili Cook-off! Enter yourself or a group to compete in this hot competition.

  • Bags Tournament

    The double elimination tournament has two divisions, Competitive and Recreational, with cash prizes for the winning teams in each division. All bags and boards will be provided.

    The tournament costs $25. Players must be 18 years and above.

    Visit over 20 crafters to find unique handmade crafts, including:

    Showcase your craft to all of Downers Grove at our Harvest Fest! The event will include live music, children's area, food and drink vendors, a bags tournament and more! Take this opportunity to sell your hand-crafted items, share ideas and techniques and spread the word about your talent!

    General Information:

    • Setup will begin at 6:30am on Saturday, September 30. Artists are not allowed to setup prior to this time. Take down will begin at 4:00pm and must be complete by 5:00pm.
    • No vehicles are allowed into the craft fair area after set up and before take down times.
    • Each booth space is a 10' x 10' area. Tables, chairs and tents are available for rental.
    • This is a rain-or-shine event; we recommend bringing or renting a canopy.
    • Electricity is not available.
    • Artists may not sell food or beverages.
    • One parking pass per booth will be given out.
    • You will receive your booth number, event layout and parking pass in the mail prior to the event.
