Hurry! DG 5 Miler Pre-Registration Closes June 18, at 4 p.m.

Downers Grove Park District’s 36th Annual DG 5 Miler will take place at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, at Lincoln Center during the annual Rotary GroveFest weekend. Race day registration and check in begins at 6:00 a.m.  The DG 5 miler is a CARA Certified Race and a Runners’ Choice Circuit Race. The USATF-certified, rolling five-mile course through scenic Downers Grove is well marked and monitored and features two aid/water stations.

With advanced registration, fees for the DG 5 Miler are $29 for Downers Grove Park District residents and CARA members and $32 for non-resident participants.  All pre-registered entries must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18.  The race day registration fee is $35. 2013 Family Concert Series Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to Veterans Memorial Pavilion in Fishel Park and enjoy FREE enterainment Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. The 2013 Family Concert Series is presented by Downers Grove Park District and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.
